Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between Ultra and Base vinyls?

The Ultra Vinyl is paired with a PET plastic release liner which gives it a beautiful paint-like finish with close to zero orange peel. This technology is ideal for achieving an ultra-realistic finish for your project.

The Base Vinyl is paired with a silicone-coated paper release liner, which is standard in most well-known vinyl brands. This technology is also great, especially for its cost and pliability, but it cannot be compared to the Ultra finish due to its slight orange peel finish.

Which vinyl is directionnal?

Any vinyl with metal flakes or a subtle color shift must be installed directionally.

We recommend installing all these vinyls directionally (Base and Ultra): Metallic series, Satin & Matte series, Colorshift series, Mega series, Pure series and Specials.

The only category that doesn't require a precise directional install is the Ultra Gloss series. These vinyls don't have metal flakes nor any colorshift, just pure gloss.

For more information, please research about 'Directional vinyl installation' online.

How long can I expect my wrap to last?

It is subject to last as long as you'll take care of it!

We recommend having your vinyl installed for no more than 5 years as it can be more challenging to remove as time goes on.

Vinyl requires the same attention as paint to maintain its quality. Proper care directly impacts its lifespan, so regular upkeep is key to preserving its look and durability.

Our vinyl is designed to perform at its best for up to 3 years. After this period, it will gradually begin to degrade over time, maintaining a slow and natural aging process.

How long can I store my vinyl before install?

We recommend storing your vinyl in its original box in a warm area, preferably room temperature around 70°F (21°C) away from sunlight and indoor at controlled humidity.

Shelf life is around 2 years. We recommend using your vinyl before this period for best result and adhesion.

Failure to store your vinyl and PPF in the recommended environment may void the warranty.

What is the shipping delay?

Order proccessing takes about 24-48 hours. Shipment can take up to 5-7 working days.

How long is the vinyl warranty?

We offer a 2 years warranty on every vinyl starting from purchase date. This warranty is applicable for any material default, which can be color defect, adhesive defect or any premature issues.

We will cover 100% material cost if your vinyl has these issues.

Proof of problem must be submitted in support section with multiple pictures and/or videos showcasing the issue.

Please take note that labor cost isn't covered by our warranty, nor is any paint damage caused by the install of our vinyl. Understand that we may refuse some submission if we feel the problem is caused by the installer.

Is our vinyl beginner friendly?

It is! While it isn't the easiest vinyl to work with, it offers great advantages, such as enhanced heat resistance and great pliability. Additionally, our film is far less prone to discoloration during install compared to others. Look up our 'Installation Tips' page for a fully detailed list.

Small tip: Base vinyls are a little easier to install than Ultra.

Do we accept returns?

Unfortunately, we do not accept returns. Every sale is final.

If you changed your mind half way, we recommend keeping the vinyl for future projects or listing it for sale.

Do we accept refunds?

We do accept refunds only if your order has not been shipped yet!

If you changed your mind after purchasing or made a mistake on your order, please contact us as fast as possible.

Can I wash my vinyl directly after install?

Yes! You can wash your vinyl directly after install.

Although, we recommend leaving your car in a warm area, preferably in the sun, to activate the adhesive and watch your corners to see if anything lifted before potentially damaging the adhesive with water or soap.

What is the best way to wash my wrapped vehicle?

Be very careful with the way you wash your vehicle. Using improper technique and bad products will damage your vinyl.

We recommend doing a pre-wash before anything, let the dirt drip off the vehicle first, then rinse, then use a non-wax soap with neutral pH.

Do not use a claybar on the vinyl. Use a clean and good quality microfiber wash mitt to clean your vehicle. Buy a new one to be safe if yours is old. Don't clean with a brush.

If you find swirls (spider webs) on your vinyl, there is a high chance that it is due to your techniques or wash mitt.
